About Us
OUR WILDLING ARTISTS
Softer + Wild was founded in picturesque East Sussex by Tatiana Nedialkova. With background in graphic design, illustration, and retail window display, in 2016, Tatianad decided to migrate her designs and art passions from paper to textiles.
All of Softer + Wild’s fabrics are produced and printed in the UK. Tatiana draws and designs each pattern, working closely with textile designer Paula Downes, who then carefully chooses the fabrics, matches the colours to materials and sews the finished pieces.
Admirers of simple, clean, beautiful interior design, the creative team, work with colour and fabrics to bring comfort, luxury and inspiration to the dinner table.
FINE BRITISH CRAFTSMANSHIP
Made with love in England
Made entirely in Britain, our designs are described by many as Scandinavian in style. Softer + Wild’s figurative patterns, botanicals, animals and whole worlds are made by little pieces and figures. Our debut collection, which featured botanical inspired shapes was so well received that we have continued to make three variations of the print across a range of seasonal colours.
We have very high sustainability and ethical standards, and subsequently, the cotton is produced to excellent environmental standards, as well as within a fair workplace. The cotton we use is unbleached and untreated and is woven in our workshop, before heading to our lovely screen-printing studio in Lewes, East Sussex.
Materials
All dye is water-based and is very gentle; it reflects the rustic, organic feel to our products. We take inspiration from beautiful botanicals, with ideas from Scandinavian styling, to make our rustic homewares.
Our fabrics are hardworking items, with beautiful designs that you will treasure. As the cotton is used, the pieces will soften and relax into your home, adorning your table with a delightful vibrancy.
We have full traceability of our materials and all our items are produced in a very ethical workplace, that values the people who work there and cares about the environment.
